Guru Maps Pro & GPS Tracker App Reviews

Ive used Galileo pro traveling in the BC countryside, London and Paris data free and know where I was at any time. I was really impressed that I can actually follow public footpaths in the British countryside which includes farmers fields and small towns where cell signal is non existent. Good luck with Google Map! I now drive with Galileo pro as my default navigator even in town because I like the 2D map aspect and data free. Many thanks to the Galileo team! Spencer

I used this app for my Munich and Amsterdam trips. You can download many kind of maps before your travel. I use vector map and it has everything that you would need. After download you can use maps on fight mode and enjoy :) You can see how far your destination. Just hold your 2 finders on map and see And also you can record your ways. So you will find the way for go back your place that you stay easyly. ;) Thank you Galileo developers. Regards

The best OFFLINE map ever! It is very helpful if you want to create your own offline map with cute little symbols, and also really easy to access

Simply the best offline map app...

I do not like the fact you need to download always map for entire country, even if you are interested only in a small region. Other very useful feature would be route searching - the other app maps.me support it, and is free.

Very good

We travel a lot, often in places without an Internet connection. This app works fast offline, lets us mark the maps with our own notes (bookmarks) and is very accurate. Much easier than Google Maps to use. Totally worth it!

Fantastic selection of online maps to view. Ability to download free vector maps for offline use is awesome. However, my biggest use of maps is to go somewhere. Need to look elsewhere for navigation features.

Map and interface look great, but it either doesnt work for my area or was not intuitive enough for it to be useable. Still looking for an app to use.

Either this has no way to give directions or it has the most unintuitive interface ever because I couldnt find it.

Ive repurposed an old iPhone as a gps to help me get around a foreign country (by foot or bike). If this app had a routing function Id give it six stars.

Awesome app

I used this app on a recent trip to Chile. Whether in Santiago, the Atacama region, or Easter Island, the maps were accurate even down to trails and the tracking was right on.

I have used this with offline maps made with MOBAC. Has been. Perfect experience except adding a "bookmark" doesnt show initially (have to leave app and come back). Have used this on many trips to make decisions on which trails and roads should be taken.

... for navigating routes. I use RidewithGPS to layout a route and then transfer the .gpx file to GalileoPro to navigate it. I love the simple interface. I wish it could do routing but what it does it does well.

Only app that worked offline for me on my iPad Mini on our trip. Excellent resource, thanks!
